Desert Places By Robert Frost with Explanation

Snow falling and night falling fast, oh, fast In a field I looked into going past, And the ground almost covered smooth in snow, But a few weeds and stubble showing last. The woods around it have it - it is theirs. All animals are smothered in their lairs. I am too absent-spirited to count; The loneliness includes me unawares. Leaves and bar, leaves and bark, To lean against and hear in the dark. Petals I may have once pursued. Leaves are all my darker mood. source: https://allpoetry.com/Leaves-Compared-With-Flowers ANALYSIS The Poet is saying that a tree leaves,  Woods, bar may live good for long time without  Decomposition. But it will not give fruits  And flowers until we provide right food to Its root. But the poet ...
