Snow falling and night falling fast, oh, fast
In a field I looked into going past,
And the ground almost covered smooth in snow,
But a few weeds and stubble showing last.
The woods around it have it - it is theirs.
All animals are smothered in their lairs.
I am too absent-spirited to count;
The loneliness includes me unawares.
And lonely as it is, that loneliness
Will be more lonely ere it will be less -
A blanker whiteness of benighted snow
With no expression, nothing to express.
They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars - on stars where no human race is.
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.
DESERT PLACE POEM EXPLANATION
The field very fast. It was that field
he used to play during past. The ground was to be
Completely covered With snow in few upcoming moments.
But, some weeds could be shown still.
Almost everything was belongs to the snow. All the animals
were cohered with the lairs to save their life.
Everything was quiet. Me was too silent. It was like
No one was there. I was unawared with the loneliness
Around the environment.
Increase more before the moment at which graph of the
loneliness will start to decrease. He Want to feel the quietness of
Snow before the snow going to not exist.
In the fourth stanza, They want to scare the author
With their empty space between the stars on which
No human race exist. It is inside me near the home.
To scare himself with his own desert places.
